“Just 3s” is back!

“Just 3s” is back!

3 years old (or just about) once again will have their own I Can Do! Gymnastics class starting September 12 at 4:30 p.m.. The class will last for 45 minutes each Monday evening.

Students sing songs while they stretch and warm-up, learn forward and backward rolls, and gain skill and balance on the specially designed “motorics” and much more.

I Can Do! Gymnastics is a fun place to learn and encourages students that they can do it, if they try.

For more information, call 584-2322 or email Stephen or Cathleen at icandogymnastics@gmail.com.

Dear Parents,

Starting in September we are making some changes to the I Can Do! School of Gymnastics Program.

First is the new schedule.

You should have received an email regarding the new class times and schedule. If not, be sure to check the Fall Class Schedule Link before coming to class starting in September. By the way, there will be no classes Monday, September 5 because of the Labor Day Holiday.

Second, we would like to offer the opportunity for Moms to get involved with some of the “behind-the-scenes” administrative duties at I Can Do! If you would be interested in helping and saving money on monthly tuition, let us know. You can send us an email to icandogymnastics@gmail.com or give us a call at 584-2322. We have several projects where we could use some help – some recurring monthly others less frequently.

Third, in September we will discontinue offering the $35 month-to-month rate for those who were “grandfathered” from the tuition increase last year. The current month-to-month rate is $45, the Quarterly rate is $120 (approximately $40/month), and the Trimester rate is $140 (approximately $35/month) for everyone. These were effective since last year. Please pick the tuition schedule that is best for you.

Finally, returning this Fall will be Miss Morghan Herring along with two new head instructors, Miss Alyssa Blakley and Miss Rebekah Mumford.  We are hopefully Miss Christi Philbrick may be able to fill in too, depending upon her college class schedule.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or recommendations, please know, they are always appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you again this Fall.

Best Regards,

Stephen & Cathleen

Students of I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics had a great time at the Clearwater Fall Festival Parade, Saturday October 23.

Thanks to Fire Chief Marvin Schauf, 12 students got to ride atop Big Red Fire Engine number T71 and throw nearly 100 pounds of candy to the parade spectators.

It was very “fun and awesome” said one of the riders.

Watch the video and try to guess the movie the soundtrack comes from.

Gymnastics Students Will Ride the BIG RED Fire Truck for Fall Festival!

Fall Festival 2010

I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics students will ride Clearwater’s BIG RED Fire Truck in the Fall Festival Parade!

From atop the truck they will throw candy to all onlookers as they journey along the Clearwater parade route. Typically, the BIG RED Fire Engine leads the parade!

To participate, parents need to sign up their child in the gym over the next two weeks. On Saturday, October 23 bring the students to the CIC parking lot by 9:30 a.m..

Students should wear their I CAN DO! T-shirts and they will be provided with at least two bags of candy for the parade.

Immediately following the parade, parents may pick up their child back at the CIC parking lot. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and will take approximately one hour.

The I CAN DO! instructors will be with the students on the fire truck and will wait with them until they are picked up by their parents.

Any questions, call Cathleen Smothers at 584-2322.

Spring Break 2010!

Spring Break 2010!

If you are deferring that wonderful get-away till summer (like me) but want to be sure the kids are still having fun over Spring Break, you’ll be glad to know classes will continue as scheduled this week.

Even though some of you might vacation elsewhere over Spring Break, we will still be having fun in, partly-cloudy yet trending warmer, downtown Clearwater. :)

Happy Spring Break 2010!!
