Welcome to Clearwater Studios, LLC!

Cathleen and I began Clearwater Studios in 2004. It was after receiving several requests from members of our community to continue to offer dance instruction for young students in Clearwater. At the time there was a dance school with nearly 90 students closing its doors because their instructor was relocating out of state.

As owners of a great location in downtown Clearwater we thought the building should be converted into a Dance Studio for the benefit of our town. One year later, we were again approached by members of our community to introduce the I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics program, a Wichita-based gymnastics school, to the community. After careful examination of the program and its benefits for young children, we agreed and made the investment for improvements to the Studio.

We have seen many changes in the past eight years. The Dance School is currently run by Miss Ashley King offering Lil’ Miss Independent Dance classes since November 2009.

In the summer of 2009 we added a new class — Indian Spirit Cheer! A high-energy, extreme cheerleading class taught by Miss Morghan Herring, an All American Cheerleader and award winner. Currently this program is on hold waiting more community interest.

For over eight years we have had the pleasure of watching students grow in confidence and ability through the core program of Clearwater Studios’ I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics. We recently had our seventh recital in the Spring of 2011!
