Welcome to Clearwater Studios, LLC!

Cathleen and I started Clearwater Studios in 2004 after receiving a request from members of our community to continue to offer dance instruction for young students in Clearwater. At the time there was a dance school with nearly 90 students, but their instructor was relocating out of state.

We were owners of a good location and thought the building could be converted into a Dance Studio for the benefit of our town. One year later, we were again approached by members of our community to offer I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics, a Wichita-based gymnastics school with a strong curriculum and positive teaching elements. After careful consideration of the program and its benefits for young children, we agreed and made the improvements to the back portion of the Studio.

We have seen many changes in the past six years. The Dance School had a strong three years before the instructor got married and had to give up teaching. However, we are happy to once again see the dancers back! Miss Ashley King began offering Lil’ Miss Independent Dance classes in November 2009.

In the summer of 2009 we added a new class — Indian Spirit Cheer! We were able to offer a high-energy, extreme cheerleading class because of the strength and experience of instructor, Miss Annie Wells-Lee. She’s a college student at WSU and a competitive NCA Cheerleader. She is also a gifted gymnast and teacher. She instructs the Beginner and Advanced Tumbling gymnastics students.

For over six years we have had the pleasure of watching students grow in confidence and ability through the core program of Clearwater Studios’ I CAN DO! School of Gymnastics. This Spring will be the sixth recital! We have been blessed to have many talented instructors these past years. Miss Paige Moeder is our other head instructor. Paige has been with I CAN DO! for nearly three years and is so great with encouraging kids. Paige and Annie make a great team!
